It was a rough morning
for Kade today....having to realize the consequences of not doing his school work was not a good start to the day. I hated dropping him off at school in a terrible mood....Keira and I prayed his day would get better. In the meantime I just need to look at this pic of him at my grandma's birthday....a much happier day!

Your Intelligence
Here's a fun quiz for you that I found on Chrissie's blog....
Your Dominant Intelligence is Linguistic Intelligence |
You are excellent with words and language. You explain yourself well. An elegant speaker, you can converse well with anyone on the fly. You are also good at remembering information and convicing someone of your point of view. A master of creative phrasing and unique words, you enjoy expanding your vocabulary. You would make a fantastic poet, journalist, writer, teacher, lawyer, politician, or translator. |

CHA
This is one of my favorite pics from CHA....hanging with three of my favorite people! The layout was created for this weeks ScrapJacked challenge....and I am so happy with how it turned out! The Tinkering Ink papers and Prima Pop Up Bird and Photo corners are from EBB Creations.
Have a great weekend!

A Medical Day
What a day for these kiddos! First Kade visited the most fabulous dentist, Dr. Dan Sones for a check-up and cleaning!
And then it was Keira's turn to visit Dr. Rob for kindergarten shots! We've been building up the idea of these shots for weeks....getting her excited about it. She really was excited...felt like such a big girl.
And then she got the shots....she didn't cry at all....so brave.....but after the 4th shot she was done....but they still had to do the finger-prick blood draw....it was pretty hard to get her to pry her hand open. Only one little tear streamed down her face....but that was enough to make me want to cry!
We are sooooo lucky to have doctors that are also close personal friends. My kids have no fear of going because they trust these men. And I do too!
The best part was being able to tell Keira she doesn't have to do this again for 5 years!

Hula Girl!
This pics were taken of Keira when we landed in Honolulu. As soon as she was given a lei she started hula-ing. And the funny thing was she was really good!
I love this Tinkering Ink paper!! It's from one of the new kits at EBB Creations. And speaking of EBB...lots of stuff going on there! The brick and mortar store is getting closer to opening everyday!! And the online site has a big Spring Fling On-line Crop coming up in the next few days. Kathy and I are having a ball helping with all the preparations and the store. Fun times!!
Have a great day!

He gets hotter every day!
Yep - that's my man....giving pre-game counsel to the Diamondbacks. He is such a good coach....but that doesn't surprise me because he's good at everything he puts his mind too. I love to see him with the kids....teaching him about the game he loves. And helping led them to and 8-6 victory :)
I'm one lucky girl!!

My Baby is Growing Up!
Seems like just yesterday we were at the hospital having her!
And today we registered her for Kindergarten!! She is sooo ready to go. Following her big brother around has prepared her for many things. (heehee)
We still have one big hurdle - the shots. She's always been a trooper when it comes to pain but I remember Kade's pre-Kindergarten appointment - brutal! So we've got 2 weeks to get ready for that. Ouch!

The Phrase of the Day
Play Ball!
Today was Opening Day for our Little League. I always love opening day....the boys (and the mommies) have the nervous jitters....the uniforms are sparkling clean.....there's just this great energy in the air.
Here's my little Diamondback. They had a great game today. His team looks sooo solid! Kade got to play short-stop and pitch, his 2 favorite things. He made some exciting defensive plays and he got the first hit of the season for his team. I know that sounds a little braggy about my boy.....but I am so darn proud of him. And he is on cloud 9!

Ralph is Gone
We can't find Ralph. We've been looking for him for 2 days. Apparently his singing scared some people at Starbucks and now he's not allowed to go in to get warm. Keira's worried about him. She thinks he's sick. Not sure how to explain this to her yet. Her heart is so compassionate and she just doesn't understand why everyone doesn't feel the same way about Ralph that she does.

The Word of the Day
The word of today is
insinuation - covert suggestion or covert allusion to something applying chiefly to a remark, comment, or question which conveys or seems to convey a hint or implication, often one that is discreditable to the person at whom it is aimed.
