All of the fires around SoCal and 60 mile per hour winds have created a very creepy atmosphere. Streetlights and headlights are on.
The air is so thick and glowing and orange red, beautiful colors but you know they are being created by disaster elsewhere. The pictures tell the story - I did no photo editing to these. Praying for an end to this soon.

YES! Was it the most eerie afternoon? Totally bizarre. Praying fire fighters are safe, and the winds die down soon.
That was very bizarre. I do pray for those firefighters as well. And my heart goes out to the families that have lost their homes.
The boys said, "This is what the end will be like"...as we drove down the street from blue sky Point Mugu into darkness in Oxnard. The wind was blowing, the street name signs were hanging from the posts, the tumbleweeds rolling by, the ashes floating all around, the bizarre colors filled the sky, smoke making it difficult to see things you used to see clearly, smelling and breathing in such polluted air. It quieted us, made us think.
Wow, those pictures are very scary!
